Dr. Zahraa Ibrahem
Location: Chicago, Illinois USA
Profession & Background: I am a physician (Doctor of Medicine), graduated from Windsor School of Medicine in Saint Kitts Nevis, West Indies. I also completed my Masters in Business Administration from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. I am certified in ACLS, PALS, and CPR I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida (USA). I am a professional model both domestically and internationally. I am also a business owner, writer, artist, and motivational speaker. For me, helping others, and being a physician is not a cliché, it is not a title to be worn for status. Being a physician and helping others is a way of life, a belief in knowing that compassion still exists no matter how broken the pieces of society may seem, or how irrational a vision may be. I am a prodigy of tragedy, and out of any situation in life, we can make a choice. A choice to take the lessons we learned and implement them in ourselves, or to fold and become part of the debris.
Specialty: I am fluent in English and Arabic, and speak intermediate French, being Muslim and from the Middle East I am familiar with both American and Middle Eastern Culture. Throughout my life experiences I have seen what raw, human will, can overcome. Medicine, helping others, to me is the delicate balance of sustaining our hope, passion, and livelihood in harmony with humility. I know how it feels to go to bed hungry, and only have a dollar in my pocket. I am here today not out of luck or chance, but I am here because of commitment, dedication, discipline, perseverance and most importantly, an unbreakable thirst for knowledge and helping those around the world who need it the most.
Philosophy on Life: “Those who see the invisible, achieve the Impossible”
