Profession & Background: Tom Patton's life-long interest in magic was stimulated when baby # 4 arrived and there was reduced time for his oil painting past-time. Manipulating coins was his first introduction into magic followed by card tricks. Lessons from a fellow Magician, a set of books "Tarbell Course in Magic," and hour after hour of practice sent Tom on his way to becoming a Professional Magician. He has been performing now for over thirty years and is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

In his magic career, Tom has performed as MR MAGiC-Tom Patton doing close-up shows at convention centers such as The Rosemont Horizon; stage shows for schools, organizations, churches, and private parties; and at resorts including Bethany Beach, Delaware. He also has held a variety of magic training camps for young magicians such as Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See. His love for children and his love for magic have provided the catalyst that make for a memorable magic experience for all ages. Tom is excited to be a part of Project Michelangelo.

Through his professional career, Tom Patton was an Educator serving as a Teacher, Coach, Testing Coordinator, Gifted Coordinator, Curriculum Director and Chief Administrator for Elementary Education in Chicago area schools. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Illinois and undergraduate degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. He is married with four children and six grandchildren.

Specialties: MR MAGiC-Tom Patton does tricks with cards, coins, ropes, scarfs, doves and other media. He entertains as a professional Magician on stage, for close-up walk around magic, private parties, churches, and schools. He spends much of the summer training young magicians in magic camps.

Philosophies: Tom believes that children are our greatest resource and that children of all ages are fascinated with illusions and the art of magic. As a Christian Magician, he believes that with God's help, he can use his talents to entertain all age groups with a fun, clean and respectful show.
