Sheila C. Gadil
Location: Manila, Philippines
Profession and background: A government employee at Department of Energy. I graduated as a Bachelor of Secondary Education at Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City, Leyte. I prefer to teach younger kids than high school level students, I became a Nursery teacher before I entered to government companies and I really love children as I have more patience in terms of teaching them. It is really fun for me and I in turn have a great feeling when I see them follow and learn many things from me. My greatest wish and which I pray to God for it is that he would give more strength and abilities to help others especially in our place, Tacloban City after the Super Typhoon “Haiyan” Yolanda hit in 2013 and destroyed countless lives, households and livelihood. People have experienced suffering and really needs help. Helping is never a profession that we go to school for but an essential part in every individual’s heart. As for me whatever our status in life whether rich or poor, to help and to share with others is most important. We can help others physically, emotionally, or financially but the most important is spiritually. I’m really proud and thankful to be a part and to be an angel for Project Michaelangelo.
Specialty: Public relations and service and volunteering
Philosophy in life: Human evolution has two steps, from being somebody to being nobody, and from being nobody to being everybody, this knowledge in humility can bring sharing and caring throughout the world.
