Sally Sioson is an outstanding international specialist in the hotel, conference, and special events industry for the past 23 years. Sally graduated Cum laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the premiere educational institution, the University of the Philippines. She continued to pursue a higher standard of education by taking graduate business management courses at the prestigious Ateneo de Manila University and computer classes at the National Computer Institute. Sally is an Honorary Member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, an elite global network comprised of the best and brightest professionals from all academic disciplines. In addition, she was also selected as an Honorary Member and Country Representative for the Rotary Foundation of the Rotary Club International, a non-profit organization that promotes world understanding through humanitarian service as well as educational and cultural exchanges.
As a young professional with big dreams in life, Sally boldly started out to establish her own catering business after graduating from college. Because of her enthusiasm, unique rapport and phenomenal capabilities, she was later appointed to work as a Marketing Officer for Jollibee Foods Corporation, the Philippine’s largest and most successful fast-food company. Sally had found the calling of the hotel industry world very hard to resist so she joined the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, a collection of the finest and most luxurious hotels and located in the world’s most prestigious destinations. Sally’s unparalleled talents found her a position as a Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Director at Mandarin Oriental, Manila. Her passion for excellence and perfection to her projects has led her to an exciting career path to exotic Mandarin Oriental properties in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Thailand. Because of her unwavering professional excellence, Sally has continued to receive countless awards in the fields of hotel sales, conference management, and food and beverage.
Sally’s extensive hotel experience includes the world-famous Hilton at Walt Disney World Village in Orlando, Florida. She also worked as a Senior Catering Manager at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida – a flagship Hyatt property. She has been awarded as one of Hyatt Corporation’s top Catering Managers in the large hotel category. Sally’s high level of standards has earned her the exclusive title as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), which is the foremost certification of the meetings, conventions and exhibition industry. This amazing woman is one of over 14,000 exclusive individuals in 36 countries and territories who has earned this distinctive CMP designation since its inception in 1985. To date, Sally continues her passion for events and meetings management on a part-time basis in the State of Florida and focuses more of her time as a loving wife to her husband Allan, a Physical Therapist, and as a nurturing mother to their two lovely daughters, Sarah and Sarina. In addition to her busy schedule, Sally also volunteers in many local community and charitable efforts. Project Michelangelo is very proud to welcome Ms. Sally Sioson.
