Irene Ruby Valdellon Morello

BACKGROUND: Irene Ruby Vandellon Morello was born in Mandaluyong City, Metro-Manila, Philippines. She finished her elementary education from Mauway Elementary School in Mandaluyong City and her high school education from Rizal Technological College which is now Rizal Technological University (RTU), also in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. She graduated in college at Far Eastern University in the City of Manila with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Despite her financial difficulties during her schooling years, she was able to survive and become what she had dreamed of- a career professional. She is a mother to a daughter who is now a doctor by profession in Manila. She is presently married to an Australian businessman named Tony Morello. Ruby became a respected Science Laboratory Technician and a Classroom Science Teacher at Lourdes School of Mandaluyong in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. It might be worth noting that during the celebration of their 35th High School Reunion in Rizal Technological University located in the City of Mandaluyong, Philippines, she initiated a project that greatly supported her humble mission of raising funds and materials for the benefit of the children in need. Surprisingly, her mission benefitted Project Michelangelo Foundation during one of our empowerment outreach missions in the Philippines (under the leadership of Mr. Enrico De Guzman, PMF Executive Director) for the less privileged children. Being an educator by profession, her heart goes out to the less privileged children and to be able to help them achieve their aspirations in life. Her dedication to her passion in educating children led her to also become a science teacher at Douglas High School (Arizona) and Pasadena Unified School District. Currently, she is a Home Support Worker at Regis Homecare, Mildura and a member of FCSI (Filipino Community of Sunraysia Incorporation) based in Mildura, Victoria, Australia.
