Angela Felde

Background: Angela Felde has spent her career as a knowledgeable and passionate Marketing and Human Resources professional since her graduation from Olivet Nazarene University in 2010. During the past few years, Angela has been employed in a senior management role of an engineering firm where she has developed strategic programs including compensation and benefits, recruitment and sourcing, and growth plans. Away from work, Angela is able to carry out her other passion in life: finding ways to serve the special needs community. She mentors a group of girls with special needs from Gigi’s Playhouse in the areas of cheerleading and dancing. Gigi’s Playhouse is a Down Syndrome Achievement Center that provides free educational and recreational programs for individuals and their families. The “Cheer Gems” is just one of these amazing programs headed by Angela and another coach; they partner with local events, schools and organizations to perform routines her group spends months of dedication practicing. Recently, Angela also helped her local church in their first year’s efforts as a host site for The Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine Prom, whose vision provides an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. She met Jojo Sayson and was introduced to Project Michelangelo during her marketing efforts for the Night to Shine Prom and is excited to find ways to help more in the special needs community. Angela has been married to her husband Ryan since April 13, 2013 and live in Bourbonnais, IL with their fur baby, Enzo.

Philosophy: Limits should not be placed on anyone, regardless of their level of ability. Philippians 4:13 says, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
